Concern for Maidan Hero – Valery Opanasyuk

We understand that nothing will recall died fathers, sons, brothers, to life people, who died on Maidan. But we are able not to leave relatives of the heroes alone in grief. Mothers, wives and children of murdered people need your and our support! They should know that we are here and we will help them!

We continue providing assistance to the relatives of our Heroes and starting a new project, devoted to their families. We will tell about the problems the families faced after death of their breadwinner. And we hope to provide them with appropriate living conditions.

Family of Valery Opanasyuk, Maidan hero, has lost the only support. Four kids became fatherless. His wife  Victoria gave up her hope of better life. Now she is raising her four children: Angelina, Ilia, Sophia and Artem.

The youngest one is only 3 years old. Besides, Victoria takes care of grandfather who is practically disabled. She is in the depths of despair and simply has no idea what to do and how to overcome this tragedy…

The family lives in a ramshackle house with leaking roof. But builders say it is necessary to reinforce the walls before repairing/replacing the roof,

 Otherwise the house will probably crash down.

Valery was always dreaming to make repair in the house, to make the house comfortable and warm for his family.

 And now the only hope for this family – is you and us

Current needs of the family:

- Care of grandfather after surgery: medicines to the amount of 1000hryvnias per month

- Funds for children. To prepare a child for a school/kindergarten (uniform, pack-sack, stationeries, schoolbooks, sport requisites, clothing, footwear etc) : 2500 hryvnias per 1 child

Washing machine (6 kilos loading capacity): 5000  hryvnias

House repair. Walls reinforcement and roof repair/replacement.

Approximate cost of the repair: 25000 to 30000hryvnias.
