Ukrainians have a strong will. We have faced so many hard trials, problems, but we overcome them again and again. Century in and century out… We fight and win together, because there is always close person nearby us, a friend, a relative, ready to support us or give a helping hand at any moment.

It is hard to imagine life without relatives or friends but some people face this trial… There are thousands of persons with similar destinies. “Stephania” center has been rendering assistance to these persons for about 16 years.

Hundreds of true tragedies, millions of misfortunes. Some were shattered by these trials and troubles of life and they need our support now. They always find help in “Stephania” center, they can take a meal, receive new clothing or launder old one, renew the documents, or read books of a favorite author in a library.

More than three hundred poor persons ask us for help every day, one third of them – are lonesome pensioners.
