Homeless persons organized true concert program on the occasion of “Stephania” center’s opening anniversary

More than 600 people find our support and help  in “Stephania” center every day. Twenty free services for the in-migrants, aged persons, disabled people, kids and the homeless. Thanks to Leonid Mikhailovich,  the founder of the Fund, center “Stephania” became native place for them where they always find support and care.

On the occasion of “Stephania” center’s birthdayб our visitors organized a real concert performance! As it turned out there were many talented musicians, singers, poets and stand up comics  among the homeless. They told us they had been preparing that performance for more than two weeks! “It is very important for homeless persons to be on a stage under the process of identity recovery” – Says Denis Gorin the Director of day care center. “It is vital to take oneself as you are now and move forward to get back to normal life”.

The dreams of some of our visitors came true that day. For example, pensioner Zinaida Vladimirovna dreamed about singing on stage in front of big audience, and after her first song all the spectators demand “encore”. And homeless Andrei engaged the Fund President Elena Polischuk for a dance.

We sincerely thank all our philanthropists  - we would not have helped so many poor and homeless people  without your assistance and support! We  startedouractivity 15 yearsagofromasinglesoupkitchen. Now it is the big center, that helps people return to society and normal life!
