Increasing the level of financial literacy

Students of University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine decided to learn population how to manage finances, show proved schemes of saving money and poverty prevention. The students' team created a program directed on an explanation of financial and economic questions for pupils, disadvantaged population and large families specifically. For each of these directions special educational books were developped and published

The students decide to do this realizing that a common citizen is often helpless when  facing simple economic or financial situations. «There is no learning of when and how to pay taxes for example», the lecturers say – «As a result,  a first-time entrepreneur makes a lot of mistakes, taking time and nerves».

Today the young lecturers taught large families how to save money and solve finansial difficulties. The parents and their kids have listened and written the lecture very thoughtfully.

The lecturers assure that demonstarations against banks or credit unions will fall into oblivion if the population gets corresponding financial knowledge and education before taking the credit.
