Vasily Kushkov has been living without identification documents for more than two years.  He can’t find a job without IDs, and consequently – save money to renew his passport. This endless circle turned him into a homeless person in two years. The homeless who has nothing to eat and nowhere to live.

A couple years ago his life was different. He lived in Vinnitsa region, in Kalinovka. He was married and was waiting for first-birth. But then grief came. Vasily’s pregnant wife lost a child and then died from cancer one year later. To overcome this double shock he decided to move to Kyiv to work there. In Kyiv Vasily lodged and worked in cleaning company but after loss of his IDs he lost his job and lodging. He couldn’t earn enough money while trying to turn a penny because hiss employers cheated him very often.

This is how Vasily found himself on the streets. Luckily he came to the Fund “Social Partnership” and he can eat and get clothes for free. Vasily is dreaming about finding a job now.

To renew the documents Vasily has to return to Vinnitsa region. The return fare costs about 220 hryvnias. Besides there are 30-35 hryvnias a day for a living. State duty and fee – 90 hryvnias. And it should be noted that it is sometimes not enough to appeal to Passport Office and a person has to go to other state institutions. 

Vasiliy is not afraid of work and is ready to work hard to get a chance to renew his ID. He has an experience of work in cleaning company but he can do any required work with pleasure.
