We helped one more poor person

Homeless Vasily Kvach – is the Fund’s star. He is a nice singer, he plays keyboard instruments and can get an attention of the audience.  Looking at this talented person it is hard to believe that he is a handicapped person (III degree of disability) with malfunctioning right hand. He can do with this injury much more than health people can.

Vasily was born in a large family in the small village of Western Ukraine.

He is a person, disabled from childhood. But despite this injury he learned to write and even play musical instruments.

After finishing from school Vasily studied as radio engineer. But after all he decided devote himself to music. He was playing in the clubs erning for living.

In 2014 He went to Kyiv hoping to succeed in this city. But he faced many problems during his first month in Kyiv. His passport pension ID and plastic card were stolen.

Having lost the documents Vasily tried to find a job but the employers did not want to hire disabled person.

Vasily found himself on the street. One day, receiving free hot meal from Social Patrol he knew about our Fund.

He understood that he wouldn’t survive without our help and came to us.

Vasily received hot meal new clothes and medical care. He continued to do his favorite job – sing, play music and organize the performances for the visitors of the Fund.

Vasily has received news from his brother recently. He is going home now to restore the lost documents and forget his homeless life like a nightmare. We are very glad for this guy and we will miss his songs.

It is difficult to imagine what could have happened to Vasily without our support.

Thanks to all kind people Vasily has a chance to get back to normal life now.
