The Fund helps large families

According to statistics for 2015 There are almost half a million children from large families in Ukraine. To receive help from the state, the family income must be lower than official rate – total amount of minimums for every member of a large family. Economic instability and war in Ukraine led to the fact that there will not be any increase in benefits.

There are several rates of guaranteed minimums in Ukraine.

For a current moment guaranteed minimum for the employables is 21% of their living wage. This group consists of persons 18 plus  if they don’t study in the higher educational institutions (full-time attendance) and don’t belong to the pensioners.

The rate of their guaranteed minimum is 255 hryvnias 78 kopeks. Guaranteed minimum for the unemployables, pensioners and handicapped persons amounts 100% of their living wage – 949 hryvnias. Both these figures  didn’t increase though prices for food products and utility rate increased jump regularly.

Material aid to large families.

Large families have right for many benefits, but material support leaves much to be desired. The funds from the government do not cover current needs and expenses of large families. Due to economic crisis, increasing prices for clothes, food and services many families can’t satisfy their primal needs to the full.  Not to mention the parents who raise 10 or 13 children for example. They live on the verge of survival, saving on vital things, and therefore they need considerable material aid and moral support.

Charity Fund “Social Partnership” has initiated several assistance programs for large families. With our joined efforts we have provided children with all necessary things: clothes, toys, food, drugs. And we also presented a real winter fairy tale to kids on the New Year. We managed to collect more than 12 000 hryvnias to fulfill dreams of 24 children from poor large families. Every child was presented a toy he had dreamed before. It seemed they were happiest children in the world. Mirskiy’s family received water filtration system from “Ecosoft” company. This system will let children and their parents drink ecologically clean potable water.

Our Fund is doing its best to render material aid and moral support to large families, to please children with new toys and clothes, help them realize child dreams. Thanks to kind-hearted people we manage to raise required considerable funds that cover needs of large families that we take about. But we are not going to stop. New projects are coming; new families are waiting for our joined help.

There are 10 charitable projects waiting for your support up to date. History of each family is unique and commands sympathy because many people suffered from war and lost the roof over the head.

They have to deprive themselves. The government doesn’t allocate the required funds and the parents have to deny themselves every necessary.  There are so many really talented children grow in these large families who need clothes, wholesome food, toys, school supplies etc.

Every child is full of dreams but severe reality forces them think rationally. Children are not able to live up to the hilt and succeed in life because their parents simply don’t have money to give their children everything they deserve.
