24-hour heating point

A 24-hour heating point was established at day center “Stephania” in 2011. It functions in cold weather. Any person can come and stay there for a frost period. There is also hot meal and warm clothes and footwear free distribution in the heating point

2543 people made use of  a 24-hour heating point  for 2012-2013 winter period.

Notwithstanding  that Ukrainian citizens freeze to death on the streets, this awful situation repeats every year. There are no immediate response mechanisms and rendering of assistance in our country. Besides, Ukraine is not able to be ready for winter from year to year. As the result our country has to deal with the consequences only.

We cannot be just casual observers in this situation. A human life – is the supreme value. Cost of one day operation of our heating point is UAH200 without feeding.
