Social patrol

The project idea – is to be within call when our help is needed. Many people, who know about the center, where they can receive our assistance, still cannot come to us every day. Apoplectic lonely old lady, who lives at Troeschina, once said to our social worker: “My hands are shaking so hard that I am not able to cook something to eat. I think

I wouldn’t have survived but for your Patrol” When we hear such words we understand – we do good cause! 

The project was started in 2010. In fact, we started from 6 points with hot tea and sandwiches. Two years after we managed to establish 31 mobile help points.  

Nowadays Social patrol includes 31 mobile help points all over Kyiv. There are 3 specially equipped cars, 3 routes of total length about 300 km, 12 workers, 50 thermoses… and more than 1200 warmed, full-fed people, who need our daily support. 60% of them are disabled persons, lonely aged people, and 20% are large families.

Support these people! It costs UAH 10 only to feed one hungry. And ten people can be fed for 100 hryvnyas only.
