Homeless Rescue Service- mobile social assistance to the homeless. I It provides social services to the homeless in their places of residence (food, clothing, first aid, transportation to social centers and other free services).
The main goal of the Service is a rendering of assistance right on spot. To that end a special hotline was created where one can call to in case of seeing people who need our help. Upon your call a mobile Rescue Service team will go to a place, and render required medical or other social assistance to a homeless or poor person (food, clothing, footwear, consultation) and, if needed, transport a homeless person to the social day care center "Stephania" where a person will be provided with extended range of free services.
The main functions of Mobile patrol are following: quick respond to hotline calls, searching for places of residence of the homeness by regular territory patrolling, medical or social assistance to a homeless person and transportation to the social centers according to the needs of a homeless person.
Rescue Service was created to increase accessibility of free services for the disadvntaged population, to decrease mortality among the homeless, especially in winter period, and to enlist the citizens to charitable activity.
Rescue Service Schedule: daily, 9:00 to 21:00. Night shifts can be initiated in winter if needed.

If you see a homeles person on the street and want to help, ask this person if he (she) has ID or a place to stay overnight, and ask which kind of assistance he requires at the moment.
